I don’t expect a serious, content or character driven logical film.

I am prepared to throw logic and even my brains aside for watching an entertainer.

The previous production from this combo (Vijay and Prabhu deva) i.e., Pokiri was interesting. Not only me, many of the audience including Vijay fans found it very difficult to sit in the Theater watching this movie.

Vijay is a honest and kind guy who lives with a huge family and his friend Vivek.

As he himself says in the film, 'You cannot go wrong if you follow MGR's route.'Review: However, it is one thing to play popular MGR songs including 'Naan aannai ittal' ('Enga Veettu Pillai') and taking a cue from MGR's film to win over the heroine Saroja Devi ('Anbe Vaa.)' But while director Prabhu Deva has weilded the bow well enough, he appears to have forgotten the arrow, and the film misses the bull's eye. Taking orders from a senior cop (Manoj K Vijayan), he lures Jahnvi (Nayantara) into falling in love with him.

If you thought it was because she is in fab shape, or dresses smartly, you are wrong.

The film stars Nayantara, Vijay in a dual role while Ranjitha and Prakash Raj play other prominent roles. Jayan, Vadivelu, Adithya and Geetha play supporting roles whilst Prabhu Deva, Mumaith Khan, Zabyn Khan, and Kushboo Sundar appear in item numbers.

The film is produced and distributed by Ayngaran International and composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

This news alerts his associates, some of who become alert, while others relieved, and Pugazh is instructed to proceed with his next target.

The latter then meets with Janavi and both eventually fall in love.

It turns out that Janavi is JD’s daughter and takes Pugazh to Germany to meet her father.

Of course, this was part of Pugazh’s mission to use Janavi and make her fall for him to reach her father and his cohorts, who in their early army days had betrayed the country and framed their honest and brave colleague, Major Saravanan (Vijay again), killing him brutally…

She happens to be the daughter of the villainous JD (Prakash Raj), who discredited the father as a traitor. Despite impressive attempts by Prabhu Deva, like Bond-meeting Batman moments when Vijay escapes from a sealed container atop a jet-ski, the film flounders from the time as it shifts to Munich.
