Now the strange thing is, the XP Pro and Ubuntu guest machines boot up. So far I've tried installing virutalbox-ose 3.0.6 instead and that gives the same error.

But the Ubuntu ones do not get online (they are bridged). Upgrading to gentoo-sources-3.6.30-r4 gives the same error.
